Italian Sausage and Pepper Sandwiches


Gameday Long Rolls

● 4 (2 oz each) Italian sausages

● 1 red bell pepper, sliced

● 1 yellow onion, sliced

● 1 tbsp vegetable oil

● Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

● 8 oz sliced provolone


  1. Preheat grill pan to medium heat and oil grates. Grill sausage, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine pepper, onions and oil in medium bowl and toss until coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Grill peppers and onions until tender and begin to brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Top each Roll with provolone, grilled peppers, onions, and sausage and serve.
